Abstract

The current global scenario has undergone several changes with regard to science and technology and their impacts on society. In this context, the teacher is the subject to which rests a large portion of responsibility, because their role. This text aims to identify and analyze who are the professionals who work with the discipline of science and how do they work in Santo Amaro das Brotas-SE. It was obtained by literature review and interviews with teachers, in which it was found that most subjects have higher level and make use of various means to teach the subject more dynamically, the direct influence on academic teaching practice, showing away to teach science and critical attention.
