Abstract

This is an exploratory study accomplished through literature review of articles contained in databases of BIREME, LILACS, SciIELO, MEDLINE and some journals of CAPES portal from 2005 to 2009. Its objective was to assess the state of the art in relation to conflicts and ethical practice of health professionals, with emphasis on medicine and nursing. It was noticed that the authors attributed the very existence of these conflicts to an intervention in the predominantly technological approach to patient abuse of professional power and technological advances, which predispose to different ways of thinking and interpersonal and inter-relate.
