Abstract

The institutions should make a quality control periodically in diagnostic radiology for analysis ofradiological parameters. In the Resolução Nº. 64 of the Agência Nacional de Vigilância Sanitária wereestablished the parameters of tests for execution of quality of radiodiagnostics beams, besides of thoseused in dentistry, and the due criteria to be taken into account for evaluation of the conformity of these. Inthis work dosimetrics analyses were accomplished of the dispersal of X-ray beams with radiographic filmsthrough the coherence among the defined field for the cone finder and the established real field for thebeams. Dosimetric analyses were made in X-ray odontology equipments of the beams quality emitted bythese using a cylindrical ionizing chamber. The analyzed beams had been of radiology equipments of theDepartmento de Odontologia do Hospital Unversitário da Universidade Federal de Sergipe.
