Dosimetry in Bone Densitometry

The bone mineral density measurement, called bone densitometry can be realized on X rays machine withlow-energy photons. Bone densitometry is used to compare an individual's bone to an absolute referencevalue. The aim of this work is thus to test a possibility of measuring the absorbed doses in bone densitometryexams. For this propose one manufactured phantom using CaSO4:Dy TLDs was developed and tested tosimulate adults spine lumbar.
