Abstract

Neoplasias of the skin and annexes, such as squamous cell carcinomas, develop primarily in animals raised in tropical countries such as Brazil, especially by chronic exposure to ultraviolet radiation. It is reported the medical and surgical treatment of two dairy cattle from the Maruim-SE with squamous cell carcinoma on the left vulvar lip. Tumors were erosive and secretion productive and the diagnosis were confirmed by histopathological examination. Animals were treated with surgical removal of the vulvar lips associated with adjacent tissue administration of oxytetracycline, dipyrone and bandages on the surgical lesion postoperatively. Suture removal was done 14 days later, with animals having good healing and occlusion of the vagina.
