Abstract

The objective of this study was to evaluate the effect of increasing NaCl concentration on concentration of nutrients and Na in the shoots of seedlings of Eucalyptus pellita. The experiment was conducted in a greenhouse in pots with a capacity of 11.5 L, through the nutrient solution in sand. The experimental design was completely randomized and the treatments were five salinity levels (1.41, 2.50, 4.50, 6.45 and 8.22 dS.m-1) with five repetitions. The increase in salinity influence the levels of Na, K, Mg and S in leaves and P, K, Cu and Fe in the stem, showed no effect on other nutrients. The seedlings of  E. pellita use efficiency for Ca by salinity levels tested. The concentration of N is favored by increasing the concentration of NaCl in the substrate.
