Abstract

The sub Watershed Farinha river (PB) located in the central-western state of Paraiba, limited to the geographic coordinates 07 ° 01'39 "to 07 ° 16'50" south latitude and 36 ° 43'41 "37 ° 16'28" longitude west of Greenwich, an area of 8158 km2. With the use of satellite imagery was classified eight land cover categories: closed scrub shrub tree, shrub open wooded savanna, anthropogenic (open shrub savanna), rocky outcrops, urban, landfill, mining, water bodies. Levels prevailed scrub shrub and tree anthropism total of ninety-six percent of area.
